Surveys of the Coast

Greywulf has linked to a survey apparently posted by WotC about their Insider website. Honestly, the way it's put together, I'm suspecting it's front-loaded to return data pointing to people not using it because they haven't been properly informed about what it offers. Follow the links and take a look for yourself.

Yep, it's genuine. I recommend checking out that thread to see just what kind of feedback they're getting too!

I just took the survey..and yeah, seems a bit more about the magazine than the game itself..and is meant to collect info and prove some hypothesis that people who love the game read Insider, and those who do not love the game have not yet read Insider, and how-can-we-get-you-to-read-our-magazine-huh?

At least the survey had the good taste to allow the surveyed to say which D&D game is their game of choice.

Reading the link Greywulf gave up above, it appears that the survey is interactive in that it bifurcates at a few decision gates, depending on how you answer. For example, if you say you're not a subscriber, then you get a lot of questions about why you don't subscribe. I assume that if you are a subscriber, you get a lot of questions about your favorite or most-used features. Which probably colors the experience greatly. But yeah, it's all about Insider, not so much about the game itself.

typical, it doesn't seem to work in opera - had to switch over to ie

and because I said I don't play D&D anymore, they have nothing more to ask me...
